How to improve acceleration on a Mk1 Clipper ?
Hi Guys,
I own a 1993 MK1 cab and it is completly standard. I am looking to improve the acceleration of my baby and wanted some advice on some light modifications I could make in order to give it a little more grunt.
Also, I have a slight problem with my engine mounts and they seem to be worn and need replacing, how much labour time is usually required to replace all of the engine mounts?
Does anyone know the best cleaning products for the Mohair roof as I have tried the autoglym roof cleaner, which was not that effective, as it is coming upto summer I thought I would give it a clean.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks
Lee

octane booster works nicely check the original octane set up to see if it will help, my 87 cab really notices it

I'm in the same boat, cars a good we runner, but a bit more grunt is well desirable. I've heard the Weber Carb is a good upgrade, but I've also heard that will also require new manifolds etc…
Correct me if I'm wrong!
