how to fit springs to a mk1 gti?

for the rears jack it up (not onthe rear beam) and undo the bottom shocker bolt where it mounts on to your axle behind your drums, go into your boot, whip of the top strut cover (if u have one) and undo the nut that holds that in place,
same again use spring compresses to compress the spring b4 u remove the nut that holds it all together
hope this helps
quite easy really, just dont b shy with the old wd40 and wire brush!
