How safe is it ???

Hi guys,

Was just wondering if stretching tyres over wide rims is safe to drive on?? i know this prob sounds like a daft question but im thinking of going down this route. :dontknow:

Also can any garage do this or will they laugh me out of the place and wonder what im on about. i take it that they will need a special bit of equipment to achieve this??? :dontknow:

I've never understood the attraction of this, after all once done……..it just looks like the tyres have been stretched to fit the wide rims……???
