HELP HELP HELP!!

I got my mk1 gti home last week ,another ebay bargain so i thought,it's got a 16v kr in it,with all the bits in the car the guy said to finish the job,just been in the garage to get everything out of it and cant find the mk2 loom which was supposed to be there,i looked a bit more and theres no loom in it for the mk1,do i need the mk1 loom or the mk2 or both :dontknow: any advise would be appreciated
