you can buy the g60 style wheel new from vw i beleive its from a b4 passat 6j 15 inch rim.there about 40 plus vat each.

every now and then there is a bloke on ebay selling them as a set of 4 for 160 plus 20 delivery which is where i got them from for my mk2 golf.

We got ours from VW last year. Haggled for a bit and paid i think £35 each and got 16 new wheel bolts thrown in. They have a big stock of these so the're not rare mate. Stu  

vw in barnsley sell them on ebay i have a brand new set in the garage with flat metal vw caps paid £180 for them all still havent put tyres on em got decision to make with my split BBS RS

I don't want to put you off but those steel wheels are heavy.

It never said he wanted light wheels or anything he just wanted g60 suppliers and costs

I know that, but I went down the same route, purchased a full set from the vw main dealer in Sale a few years ago. I paid 44 quid each for them PLUS extra for the black plastic nut caps and covers. From what I can remember the wheels are listed as winter steels on Passats etc.

I soon got rid of them because you can feel the weight of them when driving compared to alloys.

See what ur saying bit they are a good cheaper alternative for a winter wheel and keep with the vag look, I need to buy tyres for mine so I can take the bbs rs off at winter

Had g60s on most of my mk1s, never noticed any weight issues? Good looking wheel,

big boys toys do them dont they?
but having just looked theyre a touch under £60 each…maybe VW is the best bet haha

Type "G60 Steel Wheels" into ebay and up they pop. With delivery charge, they come in very slightly above VW main dealer prices, not delivered. Big Boys Toys cost quite a bit more than VW charge, but you buy from which retailer you like. For me, it'll be the guy on ebay as I don't live near a decent maindealer.

Got to agree buddy, steels are the new alloy (well in reality, it's quite an old alloy now!!), I can't find truly timeless alloys without paying BBS prices (and they were being given away 10 years ago).

Weight wise, you'd be surprised! Compare like for like size wise, without a tyre, on some digi scales…..

Mate my sets for sale with the flat centres in the wheels section £180 collected and they are totally brand new and untouched in the boxes asking £180 as what i pretty much paid.
im in leeds though and would prefer collection
