From 1.6 to 2.0 8v what I need

The car already doesn't work perfect.


I talk to my mechanic that he says that the throttle body doesn't work or the mass flor sensor is s*it.

I look some throttle body like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Mk3-GOLF-GTI-2-0-8V-THROTTLE-BODY-AGG-ADY-AFT-/281106040504?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item417339c6b8 and I see that i miss the plug in my throttle body! That's possible?  

can you take a picture of your throttle body? bnut if you only have a 3 pin plug on it then you have a 2e throttle body on it!

But i haven't too the plug on my wiring, how this is possible? Pic of the plug on the wiring?

hmm if its not on there then either the engine section is from a 2E engine, or the plug has been chopped off. have a good look though maybe its just hiding

try unplugging the lambda probe and see if the car runs better. if it does you need a new lambda most likely

have a look at the measuring blocks too, this will show you all the sensor inputs in real time. maybe the coolant temp sensor is reading incorrectly which is causing the ecu to set the mixture incorrect, and the lambda is then trying to tell the ecu to correct the mixture but since the coolant temp is out of spec everything is thrown out?

check for air leaks everywhere as well.

Hi! i'm back again because I finded that I've a lot of air leaks and the lambda doesn't read the right dates.

So,now I've to change the exhaust system… what can I buy it now?

sorry if bups this 3ad but I made a discovery, and I would need to know more.

my car at low speeds tugging and struggled to keep the minimum at times and the car is not running well, sometimes she stops at 140km/h and then start to accelerate more slowly.

Yesterday I tried to unplug the mass air flow sensor and the car works great: no rips any problems in acceleration.

Could it be the mass air flow sensor is not working?
