driveshafts - mk1 vr6
Hi All!
Am I right in saying that if I have vr6 hubs fitted that the standard vr6 driveshafts will fit in to my mk1 vr6 conversion?
Thanks.

no, the vr6 shafts are far too long. you will have to custom make something as 5 stud outer cvs wont fit mk1 shafts. mk2 shafts might possibly work, etka suggests mk2 kr shafts are the same as scirocco 16v

Well I bought a custom set of ebay from a guy and they fitted perfectly on the prev vr6 conversion i was busy on but yesterday when fitting the same driveshafts to the current vr6 conversion the passenger side seems to be to long!!

So might have a look at the mk2 option u mentioned? Otherwise where could i get a custom one made, any suggestions? Also would i need to have the car there for them to measure etc?
