driveshaft dilema

Does anyone know if the passanger side 1.3 drive shafts are longer than the gti ones?

as i cant get full drop with my bigger engine in as the drive shaft seems too long!!!

Any suggestions will be welcome as my car looks like a tractor at the minute!!

I've read that this is the case. I have a set of Gti shafts as spares, but my car is a it's proper ride height. The GTi shafts are just in case I lower it too much.
