corrado rear seats into mk1

bought a mk1 driver which has corrado seats fitted to front but backs are not fitted as yet. hears they are not as wide as the original mk1 seats and need modifying to fit. how is this done?

I don't really know, but have been trying to find out myself as I'm looking to do the same thing, the route I plan to take is to get a knackered mk1 rear bench and take all the fabric and foam off and use the frame, then basically just fit the 'rado seats to the frame

I'm not entirely sure how this will work and I think it might need some bits of foam trimmed and covered to fit down the sides or something just to tidy it up…

The above is correct. I had one and it was fitted to the bottom frame of a MK1 seat.

The rear of a MK1 attaches to a Short bolt each side above the wheel arch. You just need to swap these for a longer bolts (about 5inch).

The gaps at each side were filled in with cut foam covered in the same material as the seat.
