yeah they should fit but you need to change the lever mechanism behind the handle to operate the door opener, I have a set at home which I was going to fit but they need to be modded by a skilled welder to make them work well, look cool though

I have a set of the push in type too and had heard they could be modified. Can you advise me how to do this ?

the later type of handle pivots on a piece of metal built onto the handle itself which has a locating pin in it so it can move and release the catch on the door. The early handles don't have this at all they use a different mechanism to undo and lock the door. So you would either have to graft on the old handle the newer mech or source all the parts and moddify the door internal to suit the handle. Either way it was too much work for me so I still have a set of chrome handles in the shed which are doing nothing

well like I said I have 2 sets one with and one without locks i.e. back door handles, may be simpler to just de-lock the car and fit a remote locking system
