changing automatic to manual

now guys, just wanting to know if it would be possible to take the auto out of my 1.6 84 golf cabriolet and put in a manual?

yep you will need

stering rack
pedal box
gear change
gearbox

and a whole lot of stuff quite feasable tho without to much hassle :wink:

i swapped a 1.5 auto out and put a 1.6d manual in. took me a day to do.  so yes possible but good idea to have a donar car to strip the parts out off.
