CAM KITS FOR GOLF MK1 GTI 1600:)
Hope you guys are kool.
Am having an engine rebuild on my mk1.
Thinking of putting a cam kit in there also, maybe something by piper or kent.
Is this an ok thing to do and will it not 'F' my engine?
ANy advise will be great as i have by the weekend to make a choice.

Getting the Piper Fast Road Cam Kit.
Also Sports Clutch.
New Gear Linkages.
New Coolant Hoses.
New Rad.
New Rotor Arm.
New Bosch Super 4 Plugs.
New MAgnecor Leads.
New Green Stuff Brake Pads Alround.
Zender Spoiler.
Eyelid.
Wind Deflectors.
And a few other bits and bobs that i forgot to mention.
I didnt want to change the engine as i wanna keep the original 1600 GTI lump in there and see how i can tweak it.
PS, also having the whole head Sandblasted Red.
Will keep you all posted as to how its all goin and will try and get pics of before and after.

TSR do them for the 1800 not sure about the 1600 although parts should fit. dont quote me on that tho.
