Brake pipe kits and fittings

Hi, does any body know the correct coupling / fitting sizes for an 89 Gti Cabrio? I am after renewing most of the brake lines and a flaring kit and pipe and DIY seems the best option. All I am struggling with is the sizes needed for it. As far as I know they are all standard bits of kit on the car.
