Will dig out the fitting diag for ours (STW's)
If I remember correctly …….drill a hole 335mm from the forward edge of the ariel hole and 20mm from the wing (towards the engine) and match up the other side. The other end goes in place of the front bolt of the hinge.
Now where the —- did I put that image ????

Hi,
I fitted Bonrath ones to mine, the thought of drilling the wings all the way through to the inner wings filled me with dread, but which ever way you looked at it they would not fit using the wing bolt holes !!
So I cut some more thread on the struts and then shortened them so that they would go into the wing holes, see pick below:-
I also had to grind some of the underside of the bonnet away to allow them to sit without pushing the bonnet up or catching the bonnet sides, this was all done before the car was resprayed.
Cheers,
Ade

I tried to fit a set last night and despite being in German, I got the 20mm in from wing bit and the 335mm looked like it was from either the end of the hinge or the aerial hole.
I've read that it's 335 from the aerial hole which presents a problem for me. No aerial hole. :dontknow:
Can someone who has them fitted help? Maybe with a dimension based on one of the wing mount bolts instead?

my instructions were in german so i used the bolt hole for the wing and it is fine, i did have to do a slight modification of the bonnet to get it to sit flat!

I'll reply to my own question as it may help someone else
With INXX lifters.
From firewall, make hole 48 - 50mm forward of the second wing bolt.
20 mm in from the wing. i.e. about 6/7mm in towards engine from the wing bolt centreline.
