bike carbs on a 1.3 gt engine silicon hose help!

the silicon hoses that u use to attach the carbs to the manifolds keep slipping of   , ive used all sorts of jubilee clips to try and hold them on but it seems like the silicon hose is to shiny (maybe)  :dontknow:  and slides of the alloy manifold. well not so much the manifold its the carb side thats the problem, anyone got any ideas?  is there an alternative to silicon hose i can use,i think by memory the diameter is about 45mm?? will check for definet though

Get some Mikalor band clamps from a motorcycle shop. They won't slip.
