Bam or agu?
Ok I've decided I'm going to go for a 20vt conversion but is it worth me saving that bit extra and going for a bam engine over an agu engine?
My car will be a stripped out 2 seater and lightened where ever I can,
Basically I want to know is the bam engine worth the price tag? Or could I get similar results from an agu engine with a mega squirt?
I want roughly 220/250bhp tops
Any help would be great

overall costs buy a complete BAM setup, will be way cheaper in the long run, if ya happy with 225 then no mapping etc needs to be done if you use the oem ecu
of course you pay more the the BAM than the AGU but ive just done a AGU running K04-023 turbo with an K6 Emerald ecu setup and it cost way more doing it that way…

i don't know why the ko4 engines are still so much, ko3 and ko3s are really cheap these days.
if i was to do it again i'd go ko4 engine, just for looks in the bay than anything else.
