audi warm up regulator

can someone explain how this works as a mod, i understand what its function is, but not how it is used as a mod

It has a second vacuum feed that should be connected up to the throttle body. Under hard acceleration, the increase in vacuum makes the wur add a little bit more fuel so you get a richer mixture resulting in slightly more power. Probably only useful on a modded engine (ie already had head work done, exhaust, throttle body, air filter etc...)

only other thing worth noting about some of the WUR's was that on the 16v ones, I belive you can drill the back out carefully and then use it to adjust the fuel pressure by adjusting it internally.
