Audi tt interior

Can anyone let me know if i can fit audi tt seats into my cabriolet. I want to get leather seats and cant find any original golf ones. Someone told me tt seats will fit with some modification. Is this true.

The seats will fit but you will have to modify the runners, they will probably need narrowing. ie you have to cut a leg off and weld it back on.

Shown here with a mk3 seat but will be similar thing with the TT stuff.









Unless your a good welder I would strongly recommend you get someone else to do the welding for you as any failure here whilst driving etc would be catastrophic.

Guys has anyone done this modification? TT front and rear seats into a mk1. Im looking for info as to how sung the fit actualy is. Any pics would be greatly received
