Audi 3A bottom end Dizzy

Hi, having a bit of headache with the correct dizzy to use on the 3a bottom end in a mk1 GTI DX engine.

When I bought the engine, it came with one audi 3a dizzy and, what I was told was a Mk1 GTI dizzy, (not sure which engine code it came from). But since inspecting it, and comparing it to my DX dizzy it looks very different. And surprise, they both have different part numbers too. The DX dizzy has a smaller vacuum advance with only one outlet for a vacuum hose, where as the other 'GTI' dizzy has a larger vacuum advance with two vacuum outlets on it. The plug for the hall sender is also different on the two, the DX has a rectangular one where as the 'GTI' one has a oval shape plug hole.

The part numbers are as follows….

My DX dizzy - 026 905 205 H (VW part number)

The other 'GTI' dizzy I was given with the engine to use - 067 905 205 (VW part number)

Basically, which one should I use?! The DX dizzy or the other 'GTI' dizzy?!

you need to use the dx dizzy with the drive gear swapped from the 3a and an adaptor ring for the hole

067 905 205 dizzy is 1.6 gti, you need the dx one as above

You wouldn't happen to know anything about the air shrouded injectors would you? I'm missing the plastic thing on the back of the head, not so much of a problem as I can make something up, but where does this outlet connect to?

Is it worth me plumbing it in or shall I just blank it off?
