Any ideas ?

Hello i am hoping someone will help, how do you get the kneebar off a 1990 mk1 golf gti cabriolet, ive unscrewed a few nuts but im still struggling, any help greatly appreciated :?

there is 2 bolts and 2 nuts on each end of the bar, so in total you have 4 bolts closest to you (as you sit in the car) and 4 nuts closer to the bulkhead, and it just pull's off

oh and you have to remove the centre console too i think,

Did you ever get round to posting those pic's on how to remove the knee bar? I've been struggling with it yesterday  

when we did my mate's we had the dash out so it was nice and easy.

they bolt to the sides of the car, just in front of the door.
