alloy radiator / expansion tank delete
I'm building a 2.0 16v mk1 rocco, and i'd like to run an alloy rad, and also delete the expansion tank. If i were to use something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120947976557?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
Would it adversley effect the cooling? It has no built in tank like the small block mk1 rads, but it does have a top fill and it is longer than the standard size tank.
There are alloy rads for golfs but they are for use with a seperate expansion tank.

it'll be fine, the early mk1s had no header tank and used a topfill rad similar to the above
