AEB oil and coolant lines

I am in the process of sourcing the water and oil lines for my AEB conversion. I have swopped over everything that needs to be done on the engine. ie, manifolds and oil filter housing to make the engine transverse. What model cars do people get the pipe work from, as all the parts are now a mix of different engines?

Any help would be great!?

Mk1 AEB cooling set up seems to be the burning question at present!

The main prob i'm seeing so far(well first hurdle!) is where to fill it up from the expansion?? was planing a T at the bottom rad hose but looking into bits cant seem to fit anything in the space awell as going to pump.. What diamiter is that outlet from the bottom of expansion?? I don't have one to measure…

I also just found this picture…

Which sugest's the T/Y isnt at the bottom rad outlet to pump.. Where else can you fill to??

I've also just noticed on some diagrams that some set ups have water cooling for the gear box oil.. Do you have to worry about this on VAG gearboxes??

Hello

You can try fitting  the mk3 1.9 tdi oil&water basic they are the same as AEB, they both are external water pump, also the alternator/crank polley fit's bolt on, havea god read on vw vortex, the AEB engine is better know there.

I have my engine out a b5 A4, and to make it fit on mk1, i have swap the next part's :  oil sump si turbo return line's, oil coller , crank/alternator an water polley out of mk3 1.9 TDI, they are bolt on's with no prblm.
Basicly the engine block is pretty much the same.

She looks a beauty :) I'll be looking forward to the build thread when you get somewhere..

I was looking into mk3 tdi coolant pipes and turbo lines on VAG-CAT.. I think there will still be alot of adapting to do??

When I offered my K04 turbo up but the support braket is way off on the AEB, what block is it on the B5?

Welcome to forum by the way! :)
