2litre tall block problems how to overcome them?
the main reason i wont use a 2litre tall block again was because of two reasons:
1) the exhaust downpipe has to be extended to compensate for the extra height. (if i can over come this without extending an old one like buying one of the shelf not at stupid prices.
2)i could not get a cam belt cover to fit and i did not like the idea of haveing the top half of the belt on display incase something bounces up of the road and wedges betwen the belt if this can be overcome then i will go ahead with another tall block.
help would be appreciated

1) I'm sure I was reading that Storm Developments are making custom manifolds so I am sure they will be doing one for this purpose, probably best side of ?300 though I suppose

Tall Block Probs
Mate you say you won't use a tall block because of exhaust issues.
There Isn't any.
I have put the 2.0 tall block [8v] in my Mk1 and havn't needed to
modify the exhaust so get it in there son

Cam Cover
I just used the plastic cover that came with the engine then just cut out
a piece for the engine mount.
