20vturbo map

Been looking at the tuner for mega squirt just wondered what you guys had done? I'm sure toyotec said it would have to be mapped before it could be driven as is was just a debug map fitted I dunno if anyone can confirm this?

Cheers ebo

yes you need to get the ecu mapped before you do anythign with it, otherwise you could knacker the engine. every engine is different and as such every map is different! the debug map is just for emergency use to get you where you need to go for tuning, and even then try to make the trips as short as possible

Got use of a recovery truck so transporting its no a problem. Excited to see how much brake n torque it has. Map wise i like the idea of the tunner studio but have no clue what im doing.
Dunno of anyone local who does maps as toyotecs a few miles down the road. :D
