20v 1.8t starting issues. Help required.

Hi guys.

I have an AGU running Qpeng Mbe management. With mk3 02a gear box. Car has been great for past 18mnth. Past few weeks it's not wanting to start to well, mostly fine them warm but not always. Generally when cold I will crank it over for around 7 seconds then stop, another 7 seconds, then stop and on the 3rd cranking it fires almost instantly.
Have replaced the battery and plugs for iridiums.
Have cleaned up all earth connections and starter connections.
Starter motor spins up find and only pulling around 130 amps, so I don't think is that.

Any ideas before I just start replacing more unrequired parts??

What fuel set up you got on this?

It's the standard gti fuel pump. No idea what intank filter is like but have had no issues when driving (hard) so never thought much about fuel problems. You can hear the pump run as it should when the ignition is switched on then cuts out.

changed your ht leads and checked your coil

Runs individual coils, so no ht leads. Have swapped them over with my mates agu (not new) still same problem.

Oh sorry though you was running wasted spark set up. Hummm i would of gone for coil not sure but could the MAF have a play in it as there know to go…
