2.5'' exhaust system from downpipe

Hi,

I have a downpipe being made similar to the 2.5'' Qpeng one for my 20vt conversion. What do people do for the rest of the system? Is it a custom job or is there stainless systems you can buy. I also dont want it waking the neighbours up!!!

PeterG60 had one custom made and a few others have too. Depends on what sort of tailpipe you want mate as well.

I've got a 2 1/4" mild steel Ashley exhaust system although mine will be connected to a 16v manifold, not for a 20v turbo, not sure if they do a system for what you need though!?  

jetex are nice exhaust and do a nice stainless system.s   but i wanted my own choice of back box so went for a custom 1. plus when going custom you can ask how loud and quite you like it

I paid 260 all in. I'm putting my 1 up 4 sale as im going bigger changing my turbo set up so if U intrested let me know brand new no milage on it

Guys with the jetex system. Ive just got my 2.5'' exhaust delivered today and my middle silencer has a neatly formed dent in it. Is this manufactured with the dent for fitting or has this been damaged? Just after a quick answer before I ring up the ebay shop tomorrow and kick up a stink.

dent is to avoid the gear linkage iirc

yes dent is supposed to be there, or at least the factory formed one is.

will have to look at it again but i'm sure my middle box sits way back past where the shifter would sit, but then i'm running a 20v with a custom downpipe so not really stock set up

im the same,im running mine on a four branch on a kr just now but its got the dent too. ill need to go look at my thread as theres pics off it on a two poster with the exhaust still on
