16v kr onto bike carbs

Just thinking, before I crack on and do this, what do you do with the warm up regulator?

Do you leave it fitted or remove and blank off?

Together. Use a the choke on the carbs. 

Does it need blanking, I haven't removed one before?

There's only the fuel pipes going to it, its only bolted on the block to gain heat and there's no hole underneath like your presuming, take it off and all will be clear 

Thanks for that! What do you do with the fuel pump on the car? Ive been told to put a facet on and a fuel regulator? Do I remove the original?

Remove yours, put the facet pump where the original goes, use a pressure regulator in the engine bay to control fuel. 

Or use a bike pump but I suggest the above myself, I run this setup. 

What sort of power are getting from yours? Did you do a thread I could follow?

Yeah look in projects its near top '83 gti/series 1 gti' 

  ok not sure about power never been on a roller bit its quick enough. But my engines coming back out soon (you'll see why in the project thread)
