16v conversion using scirocco inlet manifold
If you use a 16v scirocco inlet manifold instead of a standard kr manifold what rubber boot can you use to match up with the mk1 metering head.

have a look at this

i would use a 16v metering head on the mk1 airbox and use the 16v boot. you will need to connect the isv, block breather and overun valve if you are going to use them
looks like it will be over the brake mc on a golf though

I tried to do this using the 16v scirrocco inlet manifold, although the manifold was easy to source the correct rubber boot was not (for me)

Thanks for the replies, so if I can pick up a scirocco 16v boot it should fit ok?
