Hi I have my 16valve engine running now, for some reason the crank pully is misaligned with the waterpump pulley,when looking down from the alternator pulley the alternator and waterpump pullies are in line but the crank pulley is slightly out of line, the result being that the belt is running off center and making a rough noise,
I,m using the crank pulley that came with the kr engine also the waterpump pulley,and the 16 valve alternator, anyone else had this problem ? thanks in advance

Is it the v type belt?
I had to space my water pump pulley out to the crank pulley.
Swapped it for a flat belt type now though its much better.

Is ther much involved in fitting the flat belt type, must you fit a new alternator unit

Yeah mate different alternator. I did it because I run carbs and need Clearence.

mines all lined up, the water pump pulley is very different on the KR from your original one, check you didnt mix them up ?

yes I double checked and it,s the right pulley, however it,s slightly damaged someone must have held it in a vice or somthing, anyone got a spare one they would like to sell?
