16 valve into a mk1

I have a couple of problems with fitting a 16v  engine, the servo is hitting the distributer, also the exhaust manifold is never going to fit! has anyone got any suggestions an solutions?

1. Use the 16V servo and master cylinder
2. Use a Mk1 16V conversion manifold, not the Mk2 manifold

And turn the plastic reservoir around for a bit more clearance, unless mine was already turned around when i got it.

kr

i used the abf dizzy cap,you do have to move the holding tabs around to suit the abf cap

exhaust manifold. i used the super sprint 4 branch

i do have a scirocco 16v exhaust manifold to suit the mk1 16v but you would have to mod the 1600 down pipe to suit  the rocco manifold

as above use the 16v servo and mc, and abf dizzy cap. But dont hack the cap about to make it fit, simply rotate the dizzy 180 degrees and it fits straight on.  Dont even need to fit the reservoir the wrong way round either! Just need an 8v MK2 king lead or custom make your own, since the stock 16v one is too short.  I had a spare set of 16v leads and found you could pop the ends off easily.

loads of room for the mc, and it makes it all a bolt on conversion:
