16 valve conversion fuel pump not running

Post

Having completed my wiring on my 16 valve conversion I now discover my fuel pump does not run, do I need to fit the 16 valve fuel pump relay? Or which wire have I left off that energizes the fuel pump relay? I know it get a signal from the rev counter, there are two wires in the original 8valve loom, one black that supplies 12v to the coil, the other one is red /black which I connected to the red/black on the other side of the coil.. Thanks in advance

ok I have power to the ecu and tci and earth to both,I checked the wiring to the throttle switch, and distributor also, I have no spark or no fuel pump when cranking, where should pin 10 orange/yellow wire from the ecu be connected to?
If I bridge the fuel pump relay the pump runs fine, any help apprecieated thanks

Am I correct to say that pin 10 should be connected to the fuel pump relay to switch it?

if you use a k-jet 8v relay it will run from the rev counter signal, but make sure its the type without a rev limiter.

if you want to use a mk2 16v relay you will need to run the red/yellow wire from ecu to fusebox plug D/13, then fit 67, 80 or 167 pump relay.
