16 valv conversion question?????

Hi where is the best place to locate the engine ecu and the ignition module in a 16 valve conversion, the 16 valve loom is quite long between the two units, is it best to shorten it?  anyone got any pictures of this mounted in a mk 1 thanks

this is how i did it, though mine had a corrado ecu loom so a bit shorter. the dizzy wiring was still fairly long so i tucked it up and taped in the scuttle
