I am planning to use the AEB engine for my 20v conversion, as it will fit into the mk1 bay without chopping and welding mounting points (allowing me to go back to stock engine if I need to!)
I am planning to use the o2A gearbox, which I can get a mount bracket for, however I want to check what manifolds I should be using.
As the AEB engine is Longitudinal, the inlet and exhaust manifolds are not suitable (from what I have read)
Can someone please confirm that it is the inlet and exhaust manifold for a MK4 golf 1.8t 20v engine that I need?
Thanks
Matt

you don't need to chop or weld anything to mount a 1.8t in the mk1. Unless you are using something other than the 1.8 engine bay to begin with?
you can buy mounts that bolts to the engine and make it work for you, or as you as using the AEB you can reuse the mk1 mount.
