1.8 Head Swap

Random question i know, but does anyone know if a mk1 DX head will fit a KR block. its just to get lower piston oil jets on a turbo conversion using g60 pistons & a cut down 10v turbo manifold. I know it'd be easier to use a g60 block, but we've got all these between a few of us so it could be a cheap lash up. even if anyne knows if the head gaskets are similar would be good, Cheers!

You're better off using the 16v head. The 8v will only give, approximatly, 250ps before you need to spend big money. Whereas a 16v head will easily give 300ps+. Besides, the Audi manifold has flanges that match the 16v head.
