Okay so ive got good gearbox and head grounds in, i crank but still no go.the fusebox earth jolts. i wonder if this is too thin as the battery is now further away. what guage should i use?

Hmm turns out I wired up the starter wrong.

Which brings me to my next problem!!!!

I turns out I have no ISV control unit or wiring - that coupled with realising the Haynes manual is missing that particular diagram has been a big revelation!!!

I also have no overun cut-off valve or vacuum system to the ECU.

I'm wondering if its easier to just forget these items as Ive read it can run without them - or do i try and source all these parts?

If i do bin them - any advice on the wiring?

block up any holes in the inlet system basically! for the isv system if you choose to add it see my sig g2krecuce1.pdf, full wiring diagram is there.

you can use a mk1 golf AAV instead of an isv, it works pretty well
