what about the wiring for the injection system and drive shafts???? also the engine (polo1.3) has a 4branch so that should mate up the exhaust system anyway as it's on the car now!
anything else i should know about???

then is it a case of fitting the inlet manifold throttle bodies and engine manegment and off i go???
oh where fo i do about throttle cabe and linkage do i use the polo throttle cable and lingkage on the throttle bodies???

how the conversion going?
i've been looking at doing a simlar conversion on my 1.1, only i was going to use r1 carbs. theres a company that custom build manifolds www.boggbros.co.uk they also offer a rejetting service for the r1 carbs, i think they quoted me about ?170 for the manifold!

Im definately going to bike ITB's or carbs but cannot decide which. Carbs are easier to bodge on and will probably end up cheaper but you CANNOT get the fuelling perfect through the whole rev range with carbs, it just wont happen. With throttle bodies you can get the fuelling spot on with a lap top but u need to buy the ecu and do some wiring and PUT TEMP SENSORS IN THE RADIATOR AND INLET MANIFOLD. Its in caps cos everyone forgets that lol.

im looking for a gt engine with everything. can i use my golf driver fuel tank and the polo gt fuel pump or will i need to do other stuff to it.
what about the driveshafts? if they are supplied with the engine is it better to use these. will the exhausts line up etc.
