in 2 minds something to me says worth it, if you only stored it and mot'd it and kept in for a long term investment, and lets face mk1 escorts are worth a heap load off cash like that and another 15 years this one will be worth almost double if kept like that

Its a bit pricey isnt it! like other shave said if you could dry store it and keep mileage like that im sure it would be worth a few quid in the future, but if i was gona spend that sort of money to store one i'd be looking for a rivage or sportline

An expensive toy in my opinion to win a few trophies.  You couldnt even say that you put all the effort and hard work in to win said trophies.

Its worth about £3500 tops. There's plenty of other cars for sale which are ridiculously overpriced, it happens all the time, owners always over-value their pride and joy etc.

its clean but not worth anything near 10k. 3/3.5k I'd say given the fact its a K-reg (not THAT old) and only 30k miles.

My white clipper has 60k miles, is 4 years older, has a full white interior and roof and cost me under 2k.

must admit though, it makes me think all the endless hour searching for obsolete parts, late nights skinning knuckles and resiliance to throw in the towel are definately worth the while when now, a k reg golf cabrio is going for £10k, in a garage full of ferrari's jags and mercs, so in say 10 years time, whats my Y reg rustproof tintop gonna be worth?

im going to be a lot nicer to it from now on…

there taking the piss aint they 10 grand for a clipper i swaped a c2 french crap car for my clipper 100,0000 miles full dealler service history from isle of wight vw dealer where it spent all its life great history to the car.  oh yeh wots wrong with white cabs  :dontknow:  i hate red cars but wouldnt slag um off  :wink:
