Who Owns an Inari Silver Golf

Hi all, just looking through the unanswered posts and seen an inari silver GTI shell for sale, i love this colour, but they always seemed to rust like mad! not sure if it was something in the paint, but it got me thinking how many are left, i can't see any on the register so thought i'd ask if anyone owns one on here or knows of one still going.

I like silver on mk1's, it was quite a modern colour i would imagine when they where new. it makes them stand out now as its quite unusual to see a car of 25+ years old with a modern colour. thinks mine is diamond silver metalic.. get my vote though.

Sorry it took me a little while to find a picture, Inari silver is a strange name for the colour as it is Green Not silver, i have put a picture on so you can see.

my black gtd was and will be inari silver paint code l94a

when i got her someone had done a bad respray in a pale green but left the inside inari silver.  

its a lovely colour and metalic hopefully mine will look like this one day
