Just watching this for the umpteenth time, and wondered, does it still exist in fact anyone on here own it?

Not sure if I have seen this program so have set it to record at 22:00 tonight, also set record for the campervan at 23:00

Ive watched the beetle and campervan crisis / wheeler dealers camper vans umteen times as well although i have no wish to actually own either.

Was thinking this a week or so ago! I did check DVLA website being the sado I am and it's currently SORN, it's not on our registers either.

Not a good resto either, still had rot on it, rust blisters etc.
Not owning one myself being a cabby owner, someone mentioned that the side stripes on the lower setion were upside down??
Generally though the programme is still very watchable, we could all do with a fully equiped workshop…..

I hope they do another one with a bigger budget

I think if they have a bigger budget they can do a strip down resto hopefully

Yep, side stripes were upside and down and too low. Their 'restos' have certainly improved over the series, more budget as Allana13 mentions allows them to do a proper job

I really hope they do 1 soon.

I had to laugh at bits of it and I am by no means a MK1 guru!  The missus found it and let me watch it- Bargain.  Didn't even realise this programme was still on.  Are they still makin it?  This episode was from 2002 I think.

hate to say it, but i got it downloaded from that there tinterweb, always liked that show

i've seen it a few times now.
i always hope they put the stripes on the right way, but am disappointed every time…

you'd have thought 3rd time round they would get them right?? !!  8O

It's a really top show and has got better and better ( first series wasn't great quality wise) …. they have restored such classics like Audi quattro, lancia delta integrale, Sierra cosworth etc…..

When I first saw the program and saw the golf on it I was sad that back in the day I never owned one….. several weeks later I bought mine.

Dont know what he does however i know he lives round my area, at least that's what the website said

i like how the bird that buys it at the end sounds so scripted when she is asking about what they have done to it
