Whats wrong with people !?!

I went into pc world, was in there about an hour and came out to find this:



Someone decided to fill my door handles with chewing gum!  
Why would anyone do that ???

its a joke though, i never get why people would do this, at least they didnt key your car like some twockers think if funny to do

What a waste of oxygen these people are. I can only put it down to jealousy mate. Wither that or you have upset someone recently.

I really feel for you Scott.

If we ask ourselves why do people do that?
The answer is simple in my opinion, that's where society is today in GB!

I love my Country (GB) but boy do we (you) have serious social problems.
I have lived in Austria, what we used to call the border to Eastern Europe for 18 years and this sort of thing just does't happen here.
We don't for some reason get the crime here like you do back home. Don't understand why.  :dontknow:
Tempting fate!

Three times I've had slight damage when parked in a car park.
Twice I've found a note under one of my wipers saying sorry and giving the name and address, including insurance details. But the 3rd time I had my rear bumper scratched on one side. It was my beloved Golf but with the standard of driving these days I doubt if the driver ever new what they had done but that's another issue completely.

The society we have built is the short answer.  

Not really helpful but that's life, "Its is not gravity that keeps us on the plant, the EARTH sucks!

I've never understood why people do things like this. I sometimes think it's jealousy but mainly, I think they have no brains. I've been a victim to mindless vandalism twice now. The first time I had restored a Mk2 Gti, I woke up one day to the car covered -and I mean covered- in 'Nitromorse'. Every panel was covered. It literally reduced me to tears and that never happens! A few weeks later I won £16.000 on the Lotto, I was jumping for joy and was quietly sticking two fingers up at the vandals. I bought myself a 2 year old mk4 1.8T with the money, I woke one morning a few weeks later and the same thing happened again!!  

Still trying to find out who it was 5 years on…….. heads WILL roll!!

Mine stays in private drive that runs round the back of the house, if i had to park it up somewhere i'd be very careful where i put it. Sounds like you need a garage or change of location Melted!

the chewing gum should be full of dna.. not sure if the old bill would bother to do it, but it's still a reportable crime..

Yeah moved to a new place now, I was living with parents at the time.

If I were you mate I'd go back into PC World and see if any of their CCTV cameras showed anything!?

Might sound a bit OTT but whenever I park in a multi storey car park or wherever that has CCTV I try to park where the car is visible by the cameras (one of my cars was broken into years ago in a car park, it wasn't just the fact they nicked stuff but also that someone else had been in my car - not a nice thought / feeling).  

It's a sad fact that some people these days seem to have little, if no respect for other peoples property.
