What stickers should it have? The definitive list with pics
Im looking to make my mk1 concours standard and want to know the stickers it should have on it from the factory. I wondered if there could be a sticky made to show all the stickers that should be present?
Currently I have the tyre pressure sticker in the door frame along with the oktan min sticker. I have the yellow boot-lid sticker, the bar code found behind the front grill, the chassis number sticker on the inside of the boot and the engine bay warning sticker. I also have the rocker cover warning sticker.
The car is a 1983 Mk1 GL.
It currently does not have the separate silver paint code sticker found on the boot floor. Should it have this?
Looks like this (ps I know that isnt the exact font but just for reference purposes from ebay seller Flystickers):

Also, should it have these and where are the locations for them? Does anyone know if some of these are GTi only or for older cars?

I believe this one goes on the brake servo, there are two available on ebay, this p/n with an S and one with a K, any ideas of the difference?

And lastly, hope 75golf doesn't mind me borrowing his pic but I would love to get the original running in sticker for the windscreen, ie, this:

made for my car. Did they come on all mk1s or just early models and has anyone remade them at all?
Thanks very much and hopefully this can become a helpful guide for everyone who wants to restore back to original.

First up, the chassis identification sticker found on the inside of the boot:

Next up on underside of bonnet is this sticker:

On inside of door pillar drivers side:

along with this bar code a few inches up from the handle level:

On inside of boot lip:

On the alternator:

On the fan motor:

Hope this helps some people, and if there is anyone who would be able to remake these stickers, I'd be very interested.

iv seen them on there im going to buy some as soon as i get around to it id be interested in the vin sticker inside the boot but he have to be able to change the paint codes and chassis numbers for obvious resons.
or i was just going to cut a nice plate out of alloy and have my paint code and chassis number etc engraved at the trophy shop.
also was thinking of binning my chassis number on front panel and doing the same there.

I will email the guy on ebay about the stickers, but from most of the listings it looks like he just knows that they're from early golfs, but not specifically which is understandable.
Ans PS, I have a bit of a sticker fetish lol and have filled my mk2 up with them

Upshot is, they only work in "a special, soft brass" and the engraving itself is relatively shallow. They both sounded decidedly out of their depth…
I ended up using these guys:
