VR6 CARRADO INTO A MK1???

guys, need some help. ive got a SEXY mk1 cabrio and she needs abit more power, she still has the STD 1800cc automatic in her. i've found a COMPLETE VR6 Carrado with manual box. that is still running. Will this be a never ending project or is it do able????

it has been done so it is possible, but for the mere fact that you are asking simple questions on it i take it you're not fitting it yourself, therefore could end up being a very expensive sonversion, but if you gave it to a garage they would probably get it done quicker, for the money you'd pay a garage though it'll be roughly the same price to fit a newer, lower mileage 1.8t, more and more parts becoming available so i think this would be a better option for you.

as above , its been done a feew times - have a look around for a build thread on random forrums (club gti etc.)
