Standard Exhaust

Has anybody come up with a place that will supply a well fitting standard GTI exhaust? I want bog standard, no fancy tail pipes etc. Im not a fan of buying something and then chopping the tailpipe off, id rather have something thats a first time fit if possible.

Take the original one, I assume you still have (rust an' all) and pop into your nearest Powerflow dealer and ask them to replicate it or get after market one from GSF, I think Bosal do one.

I picked a standard one up from GSF. IIRC, it was the pricier of the two they offer as the cheap one was not in stock :dontknow:  :dontknow:  :dontknow:
It fitted well and looks ok. That was back in 2004 (hence I can't remember which manufacturer it was!) and it is still on the car with no issues…

good luck with finding a standard system, i had to buy one recently for my cab, it had to be a standard one, and had a nightmare, had to get the three separate parts from 3 separate suppliers and it wasnt cheap or OE.  could have bought a stainless system   for a lot less. powerflow is your best bet, system will fit and last forever
