outshell out of curie! How much is a mk1 gti shell, with all welding and every panel that needs replacing, replaced. Filled and prime red worth? It's 1982 mars red, 1.8. Cheers guys!

Probably £400-500 so long as the V5 is there to go with it and its not written off, or lost plates, or dodgy ec.

its worth as much as someone is willing to pay, if someone can't do the work there selves its a god send and worth a small fortune, on the other hand i'd rather do one from scratch as i know what has been done for my own mind.

The story is I bought a car from a customer, stripped it, bought new rear arches, front wings, front driver floor pan, and had another few bits done! I've also bought a done car, which makes the said vehicle surplus to requirements! Do I break it as is? Or get my mate in the body shop to finish the welding, put the panels on and fill it, & prime it ready for paint.? Just weighing up the pros & cons! If I get it done, it will be of a high standard. It will have a y plate gti v5.
