scuttle shake!!

hi all, i went out in my cabby with the top down for the first time, this weekend, omg! it's the first time i've experienced 'scuttle shake'! my question is, would a strut brace make any difference? it is a little disconcerting to say the least, only happens with top down? didn't think the roof had that much stregnth in it? am i right in thinking that this is common with cabby's? cheer's in advance for any replies,  :?  al

Get a strut brace, the best bit of kit i put on my cabby made all the diffrence, no shake at all, even better most just bolt on no drilling needed.
