Rocker cover colour?

Hi
Should the rocker cover on a 1.8 Clipper be black or silver?
Also does anyone know the best type of paint to use? I was just going to use regular high temp. spray paint.

hi, it should be black, high temp spray will do the job fine, mine was painted with normal spray and laquer and has stood up well

Painted mine White just before the engine blew, installed a new engine an ive not put it on yet.. The current one I have is black!
