Hi mate

Good call

Insurance all depends on yoru circumstances..

However, pay ?15 join up as a member, you'll then get discount codes for a coupelof insurance companies, when i was 30 i had a 1.8 clipper cab

Insured it on a fully comp, unlimited mileage policy for under ?150 and declared the few mods too

Road tax is around ?180 for the year.

Cheers for the quick reply. Insurance seems fine but the ax is expensive is it something to do with the emissions?

From what age is a car tax exempt?
It'll never be tax exempt I'm afraid (unless the government change it). The only cars that are exempt now have to be made pre-1973. The ?180-190 car tax price is just the standard rate for older cars 1500cc and above that will never qualify for a cheaper rate like newer ones do.
