Quick confirmation

just need a quick confirmation from someone as to what brakes these are. I'm pretty sure they're gti ones but wanted to be 100% sure before ordering new pads after the old pads got quite attached to the disk…

they're 1.5-1.8 brakes, later spec with the big hoop on the carrier. you can fit gti 239mm discs and pads to them

well i got some gti pads for it and either the discs i've got on there are wider or they were the wrong pads.. couldnt get them over the disc at all was about 5mm out even with the piston fully back in. ended up having to stick one new pad and 1 old on to get it down to the mot station.. car is nothing but trouble atm. stuck spending all my time fixing this one while the project one is so close to being ready for paint..

you need to make sure you have gti pads and discs, as non-gti pads are thinner due to the vented disc being thicker. those are definitly gti type calipers as you can clearly see the VWII casting mark

gti pads are 15mm thick, non-gti are 19mm.
