Pointers with buying a series 1.
Been out of the mk1 loop for a few years now and missed it to much so its time to own one again.
I am looking at buying a series 1 and have my eye on one at the mo.
Just asking if anyone could point out some good/bad bits, rot/rust prone bits that might be a little hidden away.
Its standard with low miles, fsh and one owner.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Wheel arch's, Boot floor (at the sides along the inner wing), bottom of the front valence where it meets the front wings, around the windscreen surround, top corners of the front wings, front section of wing by the headlamp, bottom of the doors,
Mechanicly they are easy to fix so no real worries there its the shell that matters! there aint many rust free / crash free ones left!
