Parcel shelf

Hi all,

         Doany of you have a picture of the rear parcel shelf with the boot open and the support straps attached so it raised. Im trying to see if and how its supposed to be attached to the rear seats. Mine looks a little strange.

Yeah,  with 5 screws and a metal bar iirc

The shelf is permanently fixed to the rear seat and can't be removed like on most newer cars. As said above a strip of metal clamps a flap of the shelf  material to the rear seat. Two elasticated straps keep things snug but they are nearly always bust. You can see the remains of one on the right in the pic above.

i took my metal bar off as it was doing my head in. the shelf can now be taken out when ever.

i binned the bar before i realised i should have kept it
